A Mirror Universe for Dark Matter?

@physicists, how crazy is this?

A snowball’s chance in hell kind of crazy. That is to say, it could happen to be true, just not very likely. Theorists are always looking for “new physics”. For over thirty years they’ve been looking for the next expansion to the Standard Model on particle physics with no luck so far. The last predicted particle was the Higgs boson, and it was theorised by Higgs and others in sixties. Since then the development of the physics of elementary particles is stuck, and will remain so possibly for a long time.
