I read this on that blog as i contribute to it a lot. In all these things the great point is that biology is the most intellectually complicated subject in the universe which we can touch. more then physics etc.
so figuring out, making guesses, then doing science investigation to back up the guesses is very difficult.
Organized creationism gives it a shot bUT this stuff about mutations is very slippery.
All YEC can say is that there is innate triggers in biology, after some threshold is passed, that change bodyplans. Thats not much to say about mechanism.
However its evolutionism that is the present paradigm and so they must defend themdelves and attacking yEC is not doing that. its last gasps i think.
