Okay, that’s wishful thinking.
Environmental change is part of what drives biological change, and biological change is part of what drives environmental change.
If people want to put the Christian God in charge of both environmental change and biological change, that wouldn’t really change much at all – which is why there should be no incompatibility between evolution and Christianity.
