It reminds me of a video I saw where people attempted to replicate the stone-cutting processes that were used by people to build various ancient monuments with impressively precision-cut stone blocks. They had some success in a short period of time, but were far from achieving any kind of precision. But ancient people were at the peak of their technology and had refined techniques and knowledge for generations. So not surprising. A couple of guys I know were insisting aliens must have done it :slight_smile:

Homo habilis and Homo Erectus were common ancestors of both Homo Sapiens and Homo Neanderthalis, so claiming Homo Sapien exceptionalism on the basis of the accomplishments of their common ancestors isn’t fair. :sunglasses:
