Why is Biologos linking atheism with animal suffering? This story has nothing to do with atheism, it has to do with theodicy. @pevaquark alert the staff over there that various atheist groups work with various groups to minimize animal suffering.
Because if everyone was Christian animals definitely wouldn’t suffer did you know?

The question of evil has created a good many atheists so perhaps someone wanted to help such Christians who become atheists when thinking about suffering cats.

Biologos better watch it or they are going to get a stern letter from Jerry Coyne’s cat’s attorney who is an atheist and knows to get damage awards for cats who have been offended by well meaning Christians.
Um… because it’s a common argument defended by atheists. Paul Draper’s argument from the suffering of sentient beings being the strongest version.
