Thanks @davecarlson - I saw this earlier today, but never got around to posting it. This is a bit of a problem for GWAS studies, isn’t it?

Yes, I believe so, at least in the sense that lack of knowlege regarding the greater diversity of human populations reduces the relevance and applicability of existing GWAS studies.
