Could somebody please tell me how this ICE behaviour differs from that of Hitler’s [SA ‘Brownshirts’](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmabteilung) – an ill-disciplined paramilitary militia, engaging in street-violence and intimidation against it’s leader’s ideological enemies?
But please, _please_, _ **please** _, don’t call them “fascists” or “Nazis”. \

Only difference I can see is that the Brownshirts were not paid for with the taxes collected from the people they terrorized and murdered. They were sort of “volunteer ICE.”

Does this guy even, himself, believe the lies his mouth is spewing? And, seriously, is DHS hiring based on how much someone looks like the evil SS officer in a B-movie?

I am also reminded of something that happened here in Toronto 7 years ago, showing how properly trained law enforcement officers handle a person who actually _is_ a domestic terrorist.

A [german newspaper commented](https://www.sueddeutsche.de/kultur/ice-border-patrol-gregory-bovino-kristi-noem-trump-einwanderung-outfit-li.3371128) that he looks like he took an image of Ernst Röhm to his hair stylist. I’m sure he’s been trying the Hitler stache in front of the mirror before he shaves it off and is longing for the day when he feels like he doesn’t have to.

Considering that Homeland Security is advertising for ICE agents in White Supremacist hangouts online, it’s not surprising that White Supremacists would assume they have full government endorsement (and total immunity from legal consequences) while being paid to carry out their ideologies.
