Biblical skepticism of the Origin of Life

Like I said, where is your evidence? Give me the report and we can talk.

Thank you for proving my point.

I am assuming nothing, read the bible in its entirety as I have and you will understand. Sorry guys, I’m not going to engage any further in an atheist bashing…study the bible if you want to argue your points.

Which bible should he read, Catholic version or non-Catholic versions?

Interestingly we Christians have been studying the Bible for centuries and we ended up with thousands of denominations each claiming to be the group that interprets the Bible correctly.

Funny, but you don’t even have a story. Even if mine were false (which it is not), I would still have more than you in this debate.

Yours is not demonstrable and independently verifiable. Therefore, it isn’t evidence. We would be on the same level.

But those are your rules. Why should I care what rules you make up?

So I can make up any old story I want and it counts as evidence equal to anything else?

You should care. Remember Elisha versus the prophets of Baal, that’s the type of evidence atheists want.

You will get it. Be patient. It is coming.

Hey, give it a go. Let’s see if it has elements of historical narrative with eye witnesses. Maybe you can make it sound really convincing. Let’s hear it.

Don’t you think its unfair for God to reveal himself, only to destroy those who refused to believe his existence before his appearance? I am assuming this is implicit in your reply.

That’s ridiculous. If I told you that Thanos is real because the avengers and non-avengers in the Infinity Wars movie saw him, won’t you call me crazy?

You don’t understand. It’s not what I think, it’s what the world thinks is credible and not credible.

Here is the reply you will get from the world when you invent your story and try and put it on a equal footing with a true and authentic historical Biblical account:

“The Bible we know. Moses we know. But who is @T_aquaticus and @Michael_Okoko”?

Yeah I agree.

Could you please explain why you have demanded empirical evidence in multiple threads, but are now willing to accept any old story without any empirical evidence?

It’s tongue in cheek. Sarcasm. Your story would be nonsense. You did not catch that?

Then we can only conclude that you have no rationalization for accepting or rejecting evidence.

It’s not evidence at all - you’re just stating it “could” have done this and “could” have done that. Notice again the statement after the sentence I underlined in purple: “However, the alternative is to believe that life had no origins”

No actually, scientists, the alternative is to believe life came from God who has eternal life.

Where is the evidence that life came from God?

Thanks for that. I actually enjoyed reading it. Your position is weak if you have to resort to insults.

Thank you. I do.
