Biblical skepticism of the Origin of Life

Jesus was human, yes.

That means Jesus shared a common ancestor with chimpanzees, could not make vitamin C and had the remnants of a gene that testifies to our common ancestry with modern birds.

That’s a bit of an oxymoron. Belief shouldn’t be required if there is a valid logical deduction. You should be able to demonstrate the logic and evidence, not require belief beforehand.

I have examined and reexamined it.

Does blasphemy know no bounds?

What do chimpanzees have to do with blasphemy?

Genesis 1 says that God created the entire universe—animals and included— and called that creation “very good.” So chimpanzees are part of that very good creation. Apparently you have a much lower view of chimpanzees.

The Bible says that HAADAM (“the red-soil dirt man”, The Adam) and all animals, including chimpanzees, “come from dust” (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20.) The Bible also tells us in detail how Jesus is descended from HAADAM/Adam. (See Luke 3.)

Is it blasphemy for the Bible to tell us that Jesus and chimpanzees share a common ancestral origin in dirt?

Also, is it blasphemy for the Bible to claim that Jesus shared common ancestors with notoriously vile sinners like Manasseh, Joash, and Amnon? I don’t know of any chimpanzees of comparable evil.

The logic and evidence can be demonstrated, but actually admitting sin, repenting, and following God requires belief. You can logically get there (actually I think everyone knows God exists anyway) and still be rebellious and so continue to delude yourself into thinking you have overturned every rock and still God is hidden from you.

I think this thread has lost any value quite a few posts ago. Shutting this mess down.
