Great! Thanks
This kind of casual arrogant dismissal of Ouija is what gives us atheists a bad name.
I think you need to talk to the Identity Verification Subcommittee of the Ouija Validation Committee – who are hard at work on the problem of how we tell whether the person ‘on the other end of the line’ is Pierre-Paul Grassé or his cousin Bob Grassé.
What if the lineages of mother forms were protected from GE?
What if GE wasnt real in the first place?
That’s a possibility
What if Eleanor Roosevelt could fly and had a robot friend? This is useless speculation for which you have zero evidence. And in fact there is plenty of evidence to show that it’s false. First, there’s no such thing as a mother form. If there were, phylogenetic trees would show giant polytomies with little or no bifurcation. And let me point out that you don’t even believe in common descent, at least within phyla, so you can’t believe in these mother forms, but if you did you would also have to believe the trees that contradict them. Second, lots of clearly specialized taxa (if the term can be said to have any meaning) are much older than GE would allow them to get. You would have to make almost every species a mother form, and there goes the prevalence of GE. And third, you have no mechanism even fantasized that would make mother forms specially protected from GE.
Not unlike the notion that some blind unguided naturalistic process produced say the ATP synthase.
If it’s neither blind nor unguided, why do deleterious mutations even happen?
Except I don’t see thousands of articles on Google Scholar on how Eleanor Roosevelt could fly and had a robot friend – unlike those on the evolution of ATP synthase – that would seem a major way in which they are rather obviously “unlike” – but perhaps not something obvious to somebody blinded by Morton’s Demon on the topic.
Have you no shame? Changing the subject when you have no response to what you were supposedly responding to?
