Ken Ham: Atheists Are “Bullying” Us By Saying Schools Can’t Visit Ark Encounter

Creationist opinions are censored in public schools.
The state is the one doing it.
if the state can not have a opinion on religion THEN why it it censoring a religious opinion on origins and saying THATS the reason its censored. its religion.
THEN it says we are teaching the kids the truth about origins.
why is my logic wrong?
i think a very left wing liberal, etc, courts are doing in this case what they mangle in so many others.

Not really. The students can discuss creationism between themselves.

That’s not quite right, either. The schools should be teaching the scientific consensus. That’s what students need to know, if they want to engage in science. Whether that scientific consensus is truth, is controversial for some subjects (such as evolution). So the schools should teach the consensus and try to avoid the controversy.

The state is censoring. why deny? are you opposed to state censorship in public institutions?
Anyways.
The classroom is teaching about accurate conclusions in all subjects including origins.
Thats a clear objective of education.
To reject one option is to say its not true. To directly say its not included is a aggresive rejection of it being true.
The censorship is based on state law.
it has nothing to do with science or scientific consensus.
Its censored because its claimed to be about religion. not bad science or none science.

@Robert_Byers there is nothing to deny. This is not censorship.

You are Canadian. For the most part, Americans should stay out of Canadian internal politics. For the most part, Canadians should stay out of our internal politics.

Your logic is wrong because you think the government is the aggressor. The US Constitution makes the government the arbitrator! Religions will NOT pursue their aims in government. This is fair to ALL denominations

The ARK PARK is well attended by Christian schools from KY, TN, IN, OH and WV. Many Christian schools require this trip and/or a visit to the Creation Museum for the 9th-11th grade students. I taught for 7 years at such a school and the only books on Genesis in the school library were YEC books donated to the school by Ken Ham’s organization. Now that’s censorship!

The United States Supreme Court disagrees, and they are the ones with the constitutional power to settle these issues.

Those subjects aren’t banned. You can find people teaching on these subjects in churches and youth groups across the country.

The real question is why you think these religious topics should be forced into public schools.

Its not censorship. its a postion of a organization.
We were talking about the opposition by governments and thier right to do so.

These conclusions are banned in public institutions. you said so yourself. thus they are censored.
The supre court can be wrong. tHats why there are 9 judges. often its split votes.
it doesn’t matter. All the people can weight the case and conclude what THEIR constitution said since they made it up.
The motives of the people are the constitution.
the clear motives and clear lack of motive is the demanding duty of all citizens to enforce.
In short the public can question the supreme court as sure as the supreme court question lower courts and has split decisions.
if one could not say a decision is wrong then those on the court who vote in the minority would immediately be null. an absurdity surely.
Creationists have a great case to overthrow state censorship on intellectual investigation into origins and publishing of conclusions in public schools.
WHy does evolutionism desire/need to censor their opponents??
What are the motives.

Creationists have made no such case.

Evolutionary science continues to bring great benefits to mankind. And with continue to do so as more and more advances are made in science and technology. Keep your religion out of my science.

Why is it so important that creationism be taught in public schools?

Why don’t they focus on the science instead of schools?

In any educational setting it is proper for students to have access to the full range of sources on a given subject. Most of the YEC materials are poorly informed on humans origins, the great antiquity of artifacts, and the social structure of the biblical Hebrew.

@Alice_Linsley a great many folks here are poorly informed on the great antiquity of the artifacts and the social structure and the culture of the biblical Hebrew. You are showing with science of anthropology that we are reading into the Bible things that never crossed the minds of the writers. I am very intrigued by your statement that A&E were literary pointers to the real founders of the priestly linage. Makes so much sense.
