One of the options in that post is that such a source doesn’t exist (atheism). I was trying to clarify the distinction between gnosticism and Christianity, not provide an exhaustive description of every possible metaphysical description of reality. So this discussion is already getting off topic with regard to what I was originally responding to, much less the actual topic of this thread. I’m not really interested in discussing the ins and outs of classical theism, there are lots of people who could do a much better job at that than me, as evidenced by the fact that John Harshman still has no idea what I’m trying to say (for which I take full responsibility).
