We have some things in common* (like an affinity for accepting paradox, but ‘mystery’ is good). 
We are told in a couple of places that God is inscrutable. And how the Timeless (or Timeful) relates to us in linear sequential time certainly involves mystery! No, I don’t think Molinism is the answer. (And I love Lutheran hymnody… but Welsh is good too. )
*I’m also from a baptistic/revivalist background, and have been a member of both Baptist and Presbyterian churches.
