Mathematical Challenges to Darwin’s Theory of Evolution

[Common Descent] is the one point that sticks in the craws of creationists. If that one piece was not part of the theory, creationists would consider evolution as controversial as gravity (which it is).

I am fond of pointing out the the difficulties Young Earth Creationists have with evolution pale in comparison to the difficulties they have with physics!

The math thing was explained. its how it requires fantastic probabilities to see chance created complicated things. […] Math should prove this.

But it doesn’t. When you try to write down such a proof with mathematical rigor the errors in this claim become painfully obvious.

The correspondence of the Flood to the geologic column is another thing creationists can’t seem to agree on. Some of them put its end at the K/T boundary, some have put it at the end of the Paleozoic, and others put it as recently as the start of the Pleistocene.
