It’s not easy to compare case fatality figures between countries, because testing varies so much. In Sweden, AFAIK pretty much only people showing severe symptoms are eligible to be tested. That contrasts with some of the other countries on that list where people can just get tested if they choose to, regardless of whether or not they might actually be infected.
I agree with everything you said above.
When the dust settles, I think the Swedes are going to be disappointed in their results.
Not because of the weakness of their medical system, but because it looks like this virus
is much more stealthy than the usual … and it caught them flat-footed.
