Nice try, but the Galapagos Islands lie on the equator, and the Galapagos penguin’s range extends into the Northern hemisphere.
But maybe they’re like Americans, and head South when they get older.

The MSM is really dropping the ball by not giving this story the coverage it deserves. The best way to defeat these people is to expose how ridiculous they are.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s blanket fiasco may not have been about a blanket at all.
The so-called ICE Barbie allegedly had her rumored beau, expired-special-employee Corey Lewandowski, fire a Coast Guard pilot last May after Noem neglected to bring her favorite weighted blanket onto the second flight of one of her trips.
But three DHS insiders that spoke with the Daily Mail indicate that the spectacle may not have been about an abandoned blanket, but rather a mysterious bag with potentially embarrassing contents.
“This was never about a blanket,” one insider with knowledge of the incident told the Mail. “The blanket was a cover story for what really happened. The whole thing was really about the bag that was left.”
The insiders were unable to shed light on what was in the bag…
Think about that: The account of her throwing a hissy fit and having her boyfriend fire the pilot mid-flight over a missing binky was a cover story for the more embarrassing real story.

Trump is doomed
I see from my Reddit worldnews feed that Trump has announced that Khamenei has been killed. I don’t know if this is confirmed, but I also read this report from Reuters:
In the run-up to the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Saturday, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency assessed that even if Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the operation, he could be replaced by hardline figures from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), two sources briefed on the intelligence said.
This looks more like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic than regime change.
I think the US should be looking at degrading the current Iranian regime’s ability to repress their population, rather than decapitation strikes.
The guy was 86 years old. For all we know, he died peacefully of natural causes just before the bombings began.

One complainant, identified as a noncommissioned officer (NCO) in a unit that could be deployed “at any moment to join” operations against Iran, told MRFF in a complaint viewed by the Guardian that their commander had “urged us to tell our troops that this was ‘all part of God’s divine plan’ and he specifically referenced numerous citations out of the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ”.
“He said that ‘President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth’”, the NCO added.
The NCO’s complaint was filed on behalf of 15 troops, including 11 Christians, one Muslim person and one Jewish person. The complaint was first shared by MRFF with Jonathan Larsen, an independent journalist.
Jesus H W Christ, these people are legitimately insane. It’s a doomsday cult. They are wishing for a literal nuclear holocaust.

This Armageddon insanity has been going on for a long time, but I think now they’re feeling more able to speak openly about it, confident that Hegseth and his friends won’t object. Israeli fans of Trump may feel warmly about all the support that they get from U.S. evangelicals, as long as they don’t ask what plans these evangelicals have for them.
