Let’s start here.

This would seem to indicate that when we look at the amount of genetic variation in the human population it should be consistent with humans beginning to accumulate mutations 6,000 years ago, and a genetic signature consistent with a genetic bottleneck of 2 just 6,000 years ago. Is this correct?
