Rudeness from the "DI crew"?

But then I get to thinking about how rude and dismissive the DI crew has always been towards students, trainees who are active participants in these discussions.

Can you provide examples of “rude” and “dismissive” speaking or writing by “the DI crew” (which is rather broad, and doesn’t tell me who is in mind), specifically toward “students” and “trainees”?
