It’s only compelling because they were in the position to know that they were telling an actual lie versus just believing in something, or perhaps believe in a hallucination.

The followers of QAnon are also in a position to know whether they are lying v.s. just believing something, although I don’t think hallucination is a likely explanation.

That does not mean what they believe is true.
