A very belated update to my post here. I reviewing the Evolution News essay that was the subject of my post (as well as its companion), I see its authorship has been changed sometime in the two+ years since it was posted. Specifically, Dr. Jonathan McClatchie now appears as the author. Accordingly, in my two posts, anywhere I have stated that the authors of the EN piece were “Behe et al.”, or @pnelson or anyone else, please feel free to replace these in your minds with Jonathan McClatchie.
It is interesting to see that a nerve was touched.
