I’m a research associate for applied geneticist John C. Sanford with specialty in Molecular Biophysics. I have 5 science degrees with the most recent an MS in Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins University (2012) and an MS equivalent from an un-acredited program from the FAES graduate school at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). My 3 undergrad degrees were in Electrical Engineering with minor in Music, Computer Science, and Mathematics with minor in Physics.
Prior to working for Dr. Sanford, I was an senior engineer and scientist in the Aerospace Industry working for MITRE (MIT’s Rejected Engineers) and the Army Night Vision Labs. I hold a private pilot’s license which I attained through Dulles Aviation flight school through the sponsorship of MITRE.
My present news reporting topics include: the TopoIsomerase post translational modifications, zinc finger proteins, 4D Nucleome project, ERVs as components for forming extrusion loops, Alu elements as RAM.
My research work included study of nylon eating bacteria and K-modes algorithm for support of structural biology analysis. I’m beginning work on analysis of quaternary structures in relation to the problem of abiogenesis for selected proteins complexes such as the helicase homohexamer, as well as selected examples of the violation of the Law of Large numbers in the structure of life.
I’m developing college-level courses for teaching Creationist and ID theory and I teach creation apologetics at the 13,000-member McLean Bible Church in Virginia.
