As powerful as it was for me I readily admit that as an unverifiable personal anecdote it has minimal value as an apologetic argument so I wouldn’t normally bother sharing it in such a sense. I was once very embarrassed when I found out someone I didn’t even know had posted my story to alt.atheism (without even asking) as if it were some sort of “proof”.
