Creation Without A Creator?

Perhaps our resident physics can comment better, but my understanding is that the universe has energy equal to zero. And that every region of empty space can’t be empty forever so any region of empty space a whole new universe can pop into existence (one Big Bang per universe). From GR this universe is of infinite expanse and does go on forever in time.

This is not creation from nothing. You don’t need a physicist to tell you this, as this is a philosophical question. Krauss thinks that “nothing” means “quantum vacuum plus all the laws of physics”, which is the most empty a physical world obeying our knowledge of quantum mechanics can be. This is a lot of things.

Philosophers ask different questions: where does the laws of physics come from? Where does the physical world comes from? etc
