Early in Fellowship of the Ring, when the friends are gather at the Green Dragon, people are discussion “these strange times” and a report of a walking tree. The description of the walking tree matches an Entwife from Treebeard’s description in The Two Towers. That’s a hopeful Easter egg I think most overlook. :slight_smile:
