You have two takers right here. How should we construe your offer when you ignore two acceptances of it?

If you want to discuss that book, start a new topic on it. This thread is too long already, and a new topic should have a new title. I will respond to anyone who has read the entire book, as I have, and who gives a fair overall assessment of the book (mentioning good points as well as bad points) before starting to nit-pick at alleged errors on this or that page. So the first order of business would be a book review by someone. I don’t have time to write one, but there seem to be several retired scientists here, plus several groupies who seem to have 24/7 free to debate on the internet, so if one of them wants to read the book and give a general review, that would be a good start.

I think a discussion of The Design of Life would be an excellent topic, and @Eddie has twice expressed a desire to discuss the (flawed) contents.

I also recall that @Puck_Mendelssohn has written a review of it, which would satisfy @Eddie’s request above.

I admit I haven’t read the book myself, so I’d be grateful if those who have can supply additional nuggets from it.
