Etymology of "Jesus H. Christ on a pogo stick"

Oddly enough, I find that it is often among Christians that the most defamatory statements about God originate. For those of us who are not persuaded that there are any gods, it’s not easy to defame ‘em. But when odious people make the claim that there is a god who endorses their odious views, that does reflect badly on the big ol’ ghost.

No, I will never get rid of my landscaper, Jesús.

Thanks.

Apparently someone got confused and thought that I was offended about the discussion because it had something to do with Jesus? I honestly have just skimmed the posts here, so I’m not sure. What actually happened is that a thread was derailed and I asked for the topic to move to it’s own thread and almost immediately after someone else jumped in with a very obvious derailment.

As mentioned it may have been a coincidence, but the fact that I had just finished asking to keep the other thread on track seemed like a not-so-subtle way of saying “No.” That’s what my disrespectful remark was about.
