Greg and John Discuss His Critique of Evolution

In this case, it is false because there is far, far more to evolutionary biology than presented in your portrayal.

For example, I am a scientist. When you talk about science, I don’t see anything of myself in your claims. You only talk at me with a bullhorn of falsehoods about science, claiming to understand my thoughts and actions more than I do!

Have you considered talking with me to see if your portrayal of science is truly accurate?

There’s a reason for that. Maybe you should consider that there’s something to it instead of repeating your same intolerant rant in response.

For example, you could ask me what I believe instead of telling me what you think I believe. What a concept!

That makes no sense. How could you asking:

In what way am I misrepresenting science, John?

require more of your time than your usual paragraph of falsehoods about evolution?

They are only apparent to you in the hearsay that you regurgitate. You place that far above any dialog. You want to believe them and use them as a rhetorical club. They are not apparent to those whom you are belligerently misrepresenting.

Have you heard of the Golden Rule?

About 99% of biologists accept the (overwhelming) evidence for evolution. How is that dying out?

No longer a mutation? What does that even mean?

It’s been dying out and on it’s last leg for decades now. Haven’t you heard? You can find the exact same statements in the earliest anti-evo writings

I listened to an entire sermon on that very topic in 1959. The pastor said that “Fifty years from now, the Theory of Evolution will appear only in history books, not science books!”

The Imminent Demise of Evolution: The Longest Running Falsehood in Creationism

Since 1825 Creationists have been predicting the death of the Old Earth view and the changing diversity of life on the planet. You’d think after almost two centuries of getting the science wrong they’d learn, but no. :slightly_smiling_face:

@Greg, John has a point. If you spent half as much time working to understand others as you do disagreeing with them, you would have a whole new outlook. You might give it a try.

That doesn’t explain how your falsehood-filled rants take less time than asking a question and considering the answer.

That’s false. It isn’t even close to how science works.
