It was a conclusion our great rights came from God also called natural. not from mankind.
Democracy or any government, by definition, can not over rule God/natural rights.
Thats the glory of such rights. humans can make other rights but not overthrow these rights.
The human rights stuff of modern days TRIES to invent rights that have the authority of God/natural but are just from humans and not legitamate beyond admittace they are from humans. Then they try to stop OTHER humans changing them etc. Thats why human rights is a false and bad term.
Good people think they mean natural rights but its not that.
in fact human rights always ends up as a enemy of the people in deciding what our non-natural rights are.

Why would rights constructed by humans be false or illegitimate? Humans are natural beings, so why wouldn’t the rights we construct be natural rights?
Rights construcyed by humans is okay. However we can not construct natural/God given rights! Thats the whole point of the discovery of God/natural rights. We can’t invent them or overturn them.
