This is a good article - and it deserves more attention. I’m familiar with these psychological studies of human development (because I married a Psych teacher), but not the similar experiments among the Great Apes.
I didn’t see a direct reference for the Great Ape studies, but by context Falk seems to be referring to Tomlinson’s Becoming Human book. I might have to get that.
