Poe's Law: "CO2 is 0.04% of the atmosphere. Plants begin dying at 0.02%."

That comment under a mostly unrelated Christian Post website article continued with, “Think about that.”

At first I laughed, interpreting it as a joke. But then I reminded myself of where I was reading it and it seemed like the author was serious: Trying to “reason” that CO2 levels were too low to worry about.

This incident led me to brainstorming about a new board game I would call “How Many Errors in This Argument?” where one draws a card which quotes a silly argument and one has to think of as many refutations as possible within 15 seconds. Then the next player in the rotation has to do likewise, etc. The round ends when the next player fails to think of at least one more refutation.

Yes, such posts are sad but for me they are strangely entertaining.
