I’m trying to figure out why Vance re-tweeted the cellphone video taken by Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who killed Renee Good. It certainlys does little to further support his claim that she was trying to run Ross over. On the contrary, it firmly refutes the claim that Good and others were “domestic terrorists” who were harassing and intimidating Ross and other ICE agents.
What the video does explicitly show, however, is that Good was in a lesbian relationship. And, from the perspectve of Vance and the rest of this administration, that serves the purpose of turning their base supporters against the victim.
