Since everyone agrees that all the “breeds” in domesticated animals originated in the last 12k years or so, and there’s more variation in breeds than there is between some species, everyone should agree that all the speciation of everything alive could also happen in thousands of years.

By the way, does this mean that Jeanson promotes recent speciation of humans from heterozygous ape ancestors, given the narrow genetic variation?

He actually carved out an explicit exception for humans in the original Replacing Darwin. No reason other than “we know humans were specially created in their current form”. Just straight up special pleading.
