A code doesn’t have to be actively used to be a code. If morse code fell out of use it wouldn’t stop being a code. Completely irrelevant response.
It’s also irrelevant whether the code’s principles are easily elucidated or require a long period of investigation and research to comprehend. Makes no difference to whether it is a code or not, nor does it affect whether that code required intelligent design.
