Then teach him.
I’m concerned that he has no background in emoticon theory!
So this afternoon I pulled off the shelf the book Darwin in the Genome by Lynn Helena Caporale thinking that it might be a book presenting evidence for common ancestry. After reading the Preface and Prologue I came away with the impression that the book had nothing to do with evidence for common descent. So I intend to set it aside and move on to some other books.
Has anyone else read this book and can you confirm that it’s not really at all about the evidence for common descent?
I’ve read the subtitle, and that seems like enough of a clue.
I am actively looking for popular science books that make the case for common descent to the general public.
Next up:
Darwinian Detectives: Revealing the Natural History of Genes and Genomes
What can you discern from that subtitle?
Has anyone else read this book?
What’s up with the obsession with Darwin!
Congratulations Mung! You just opened a new field of sciencific inquiry!!
I’m only 25% kidding. I think we should look into this at least 35% seriously.
