I’m noting JTF everywhere it is relevant. Most of my work is totally orthogonal.

Also funding is not a de facto COI.

Yes, you have been very open on your JTF funding. And yes, your science work and your religious work are being kept orthogonal as you keep your science neutral on God and your theology is not contrary to mainline Protestantism. As long as JTF funding is tiny, no COI exists for you. But once you enter the million dollar range of grants, the potential of COI will be very real.
