Totally random question but I was thinking of recommending some summer reading for my students (grade 11 biology).
What books would you recommend in terms of addressing the nature of science and/or method?
These do not have to be nonfiction, but less dry is preferred.
Improbable Destinies by Jonathan Losos. OK, a link, in this case to a review:
NOT Biology, but a good way for youngster to wrap their minds around visualizing higher dimensions.

One of the most gripping books I have read. You students will have a new respect for phages.
I don’t know what grade 11 means and if the book I linked to below would be appropriate for their level. However, its a highly informative one!
