We don’t talk about theistic gravity, so I’m not sure why we would talk about theistic evolution.

I know that you have more detailed and thoughtful reasons but this, IMHO, is the most convincing and succinct reply to people who ask “why don’t you call yourself a theistic evolutionist?”
