Every thought about setting up a session at ETS/EPS (maybe Nov 2019) for an open discussion with some main players? BioLogos has done this fruitfully (it’s where I first met Clinton).
@kkeathley and I discussed this briefly. Timing was too late for 2018. By 2019, Peaceful Science might be a real organization too, so the delay is not a bad idea. ETS is not my world though. @deuteroKJ, would you be interested in designing and submitting a proposal to ETS with @kkeathley or other aligned scholars (with input from me perhaps)?

Please reach out to him then, cc me if you think it is appropriate. Like I’ve said, ETS is not my world. So I need help from you guys in how to scope and package this best. I think the deadline is February or March 2019, and if you go down this path, I can give you a list of sympathetic scholars from Dabar. If you find the right people to discuss this with at ETS 2018, it should be shoe in.

I’ll reach out and see if he and I can meet this year to discuss the possibilities. Keathley has organized these things at SEBTS and, of course, arranged the SBC/BioLogos dialogue a few years ago. I met him at a BioLogos conference in Grand Rapids, though I doubt he’ll know who I am (but several of his colleagues are good friends).

Do you know Chip Hardy? Check in with him if you can. We had an extensive conversation on original sin and found my proposal aligns quite closely with his reading of Genesis (repeated exile as God’s merciful response to sin).
@kkeathley brought me out to SEBTS for a private event as a warm up for Dabar. It was extremely helpful. I’m very indebted to him. Have you read this yet: Ken Keathley: Notes from Dabar and a Baptist's Hope?

Yes, very well. We went to seminary together and keep in touch. He was one guy I had in mind.
