I will say, it was a bit jarring to hear the loud chants of “USA! USA!” at the recent Olympics. The demeanour of a curling crowd is usually more like that of a golf or tennis match. My suspicion is that a bunch of MAGA chuds couldn’t get tickets to the hockey games so decided to attend curling instead.
