In some discussions here on Peaceful Science, the uses of BLAST are often cited and discussed. The Genomics Education Alliance offers a one-period lesson that introduces students to BLAST. As I did with the genome browser lessons, I invite participants of this forum, especially educators, to peruse, comment on, and use the GEA BLAST lesson.
