So far, just one piece of hate mail… (not counting the usual trolls on twitter - don’t feed them!). This is an especially crude one, but in line with what I’ve come to expect. Josh, maybe you should write your next book about the evolution of talking snakes. I’ll try to get another supportive op-ed placed.

What an hilarious comment - forbidden non-reproductive anal pleasure. I am sure a lot of straight heterosexual couples are smiling at this one. 
To me, the talking snake was the key character in the Genesis story.

The title of this thread, “Serpent Hate Mail” makes me laugh as I consider the reaction of a first-time visitor to this forum who sees it.
I like the fact that PS is a place where such offbeat titles appear. (Surely the serpent in the Genesis account deserves some hate mail for all of the trouble it caused.)
