Tim Clarey and Plate Tectonics

What about the Haymond Formation in Texas? It’s got over 15,000 alternating layers of sandstone and shale, each with its own independent networks of animal burrows and tunnels. Did all of that happen in a few thousand years? (Or was it during all from the year of Noah’s Flood, which many YECs claim created the vast majority of sedimentary strata?) For a discussion, see:

For those of us who remember Groucho Marx’s comedy quiz show (1947-1961), this is where the toy duck wearing the signature Groucho eyeglasses and mustache drops down from the ceiling—to indicate that the contestant has won the $100 prize for saying the magic word: consilience.

Data consilience is the slam-dunk of the defeat of “creation science” YECism’s claims about the age of the earth.

My sediments exactly!

Chalk up a win for you. What campus?

Is that where students can get Cliff’s Notes?

Yeah, but he picks the bible over science, and while it says the earth is young, it doesn’t say the earth is flat. Oh, wait.

Let’s not take the Flat-Earthers for granite.

That’s a circular argument, but let’s not go round and round on this.
