Could someone here, an expert, please tell me if you had a single copy of 7billion peoples dna, and put them into a teaspoon would they fit or would you need a table spoon. Considering their size in their packed form, if they were out of the cell on their own, could you fit the DNA of every single human being in a table spoon.
If that is possible. Could God fit a DNA code of your soul/personality/memories, into a thimble. could then all 7 billion of those souls fit in a bowl.

Not an expert, but Google helps and I can do the math.
So the DNA from 1 cell from each of 7 billion people would weigh roughly 1/40th of a gram, and would easily fit in a teaspoon. Don’t sneeze.
Counting DNA from all cells in the body would by at least 10 trillion times that, ~250,000 metric tons. That’s roughly 70% the weight of the Empire State Building.

This is standard practice at this forum, when people wander off on side topics like “how much DNA weighs”, we try to move it to it’s own space so it doesn’t distract from the original question (here The Conflict Hypothesis). Also, it’s considered polite to keep a discussion to the original topic, and not steal it away from the person who start the discussion.

A butterfly. Does it have a soul? how can a worm know to make a cocoon, where did that Idea come from? and then after it is juiced in that cocoon, how does it know to return to a tree on the other side of the world ? is that soul? is that a type of Muscle memory programed in the DNA or in a type of “Soul”. Its nature and nurture. Maybe there is less nurture than we realize. It may be a type of predestination, Soul memory. Maybe people think they remember past lives because they remember parts of their parents or grandparents lives attached to their DNA. Now there is some deep stuff.

That 3.59 picograms is for a haploid genome, so you need to double it for a full human genome. So that’s 1/20 of an ounce.

A same similar thought about the distillation of information into a system. DNA is Gods Origami. Maybe there is Soul Origami. Maybe God saves them in a bottle/bowl.

The immortal soul became a thing when the Witch of Endor was introduced into the story line. Then everyone got interested. The story may actually be a hoax done by the witch. Not to say Souls/spirits don’t exist, but this may not be a real proof text for it.
