First New TB Drug in 50 Years


Thankfully, we are staying one step ahead of microbes for the moment. Let’s just hope this trend continues. As @swamidass probably knows, computer modelling of protein-ligand interactions has helped in the search for new medicines.


For the moment. I find it worrisome that we seem to be racing against evolution.


We are toast in any case. After all, everybody knows that the Theory of Evolution teaches that goldfish and polar bears are rapidly evolving human brains!

TB is a lot less scary than the thought of a polar bear stealing my identity and hacking into my bank account.

(Yeah, I just can’t get over this particular Evolution News & Views story.)
