I Got Into Grad School!

I found out today I got into the Master’s program at Yale Divinity in the History of Christianity I applied for! Looks like I’ll be moving to New Haven this fall! I’m super excited, and @swamidass said I should share  Hopefully, I’ll have more time to hang around here and cause trouble now!

Hopefully they will teach the “true” history of Christianity.

Basically, the work I’m looking at is about how Christian theology got twisted by narratives of American Exceptionalism/nationalism and was then used to oppress Native Americans.

Walt: Dad, what's gradual school?
Garp: Gradual school?
Walt: Yeah. Mom says her work's more fun now that she's teaching
      gradual school.
Garp: Oh. Well, gradual school is someplace you go and gradually
find out that you don't want to go to school anymore

So, not planning on presenting the work at CPAC, I guess. :sunglasses:

@TWReynolds, it was great to meet you at the Genealogical Adam & Eve workshop. Congrats and good luck! My chemistry colleague did her PhD at Yale and enjoyed her time in New Haven.
