It’s been over a year. Here is the result: Chasing Oumuamua I now have a mechanism explaining why general relativity is so successful. I also have equations explaining how general relativity might be adjusted so as to be consistent with this new theory; I work out some examples of that.
I’ve finally managed to propose a theory with a gravitational mechanism that gives a physical explanation of why the equations of general relativity work so well, and why they do not work in predicting galactic rotation rates.
This new version of the theory also explains the CMB as light returning to the universe after interaction with the intergalactic medium through the compton effect.
