Indeed, why would secret spy drones from Iran and China—and Mars, Tatooine, and Arrakis for that matter—turn on their exterior lights at all?
Whatever the reason, I do appreciate that in the TV news coverage I’ve seen so far, the mystery aircraft shown on the videos had a red light on the left, an aviation green light on the right, and a white tail light. I mean, whatever ill will there may be behind these spies and invaders, you really gotta respect the fact that they are putting safety first. I say bless 'em.
